Relational poverty 

Many followers but not friends, 

Likes but not love, 

Comments but not conversations, 

Crowds but not companions, 

"Gated communities" but not communities

 A broader network of ‘contacts’

 Lesser deep and meaningful connections with others

Busy but not Business 

Chasing but not gathering

Tired without lasting results

Living without life

Be Human

Be an angel and,

Touch a human soul.

Listen to the whispers in their hearts

Ask the real questions that makes them talk

Be genuinely concerned

Be patient

Be understanding

Love without a care

Help without reservation

Reach out

Arms open wide

Bosom ready

To hug!

Men of Righteousness

The journey of trees
They never move about
A stationary lifetime you may say
But trees have their journeys.
Ever deepening their roots
As they straining heavenward.
Strong, firm and grounded.
Immovable.
And like trees,
So they journey
Pilgrims of righteousness.

Every New Day

Live in the newness of every day.
A new year is good
But the newness of an year
Is a little far apart.
Wake up every morning
In a new day
Let go of yesterday
And let the smell of the future
With every rising sun
Renew you
Re-energize you
And strengthen you
To keep going!
