Life In Picture Frames

I am yet to see
source: http://www.portraitworkshop.com
An empty picture frame
Strategically hoisted
As a piece of art
Giving Life.

I am yet to see
A picture of anger
Or strife
Or bad blood
Or hatred
Or acrimony
Well Framed
Strategically Hang.

I am yet to see.

In picture frames
All I see, is
Radiant faces
Sparkling smiles
Made up countenances
Happy people
Strategically placed
For many to see.

In picture frames,
All I see, is
Beautiful memories
Great moments
Best clads
Breathtaking scenery.

It is poses
It's awkwardness
It's fun
It's laughter.

It's hope
It's joy
It's life
It's the best.

In picture frames
I want to live.
Not on a wall hanging
Not photoshopped
Not statued
Not frozen

In a picture frame
I want to live.

Man and His People

Man,
His People.
Man and his People.

A hurting man, hurts his people.
A damaged man, damages his people.
A destroyed man, destroys his people.
A lost man, leads his people astray.
An immature man drags his people behind.

A strong man strengthens his people
A brave man encourages his people
A healed man, heals his people.
A journeying man brings his people home
A godly man is God's representation to his people

Man,
His People.
Man and his people.

Who the man is
Determines
Who his people are
Who his people become.

Man and his people
One thing!

The Pat

I know of a guy
He looks the part
And has no part.

I know of yet another guy
He has the part
Doesn't look the part

I know yet of another guy
He doesn't look the part
He doesn't have the part.

Yet I know of another guy
He looks the part
And has the part.

And finally
I know of this last guy.
He is Pat.

Human Beings.

Human Beings
Stuck in much
Engaged in many
Up and down
This and that
Here and there
Out and about.

Humans,
You were created
Not to be human doings
But human beings.
Just be!

Getting To Know Her

That was great advice.
That to get to know her,
The way to really feel her,
The way to connect with her,
The way to stop judging her,
The way to understand her,
is to walk a mile in her shoes.

Ready and willing to engage,
I sought after her.
Then I found out,
She wears no shoes!
